The Rise, Fall, Rebirth of a Dreamer

Overview This video captures the raw story of how my passion for filmmaking was born at a young age—and how loss pushed me to chase my dreams of traveling the world and telling stories through film. At 13, I went from an unknown amateur to landing a summer internship with Beautiful Destinations in Dubai, mentored by co-founder Tom Jauncey. I achieved my dreams early, but success came at a cost. I lost myself chasing work, with no routine, no balance, and no sense of who I was outside of filmmaking. For two years, I felt completely adrift. I nearly gave up. One summer, I traveled away to see the world from a new perspective and try to find my creative spark. When I returned, something inside me had changed. I rebuilt myself from the ground up. I fell back in love with the craft, built my dream physique, traveled more, found real friendships, and created with a purpose. This is a story of struggle, initiative, sacrifice, obsession, and patience—and a reminder that when you focus on the right things, the right things grow.
